Longfellow Love - Jam-a-thon
LONGFELLOW LOVE STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
At Longfellow Middle School we have approximately 100 students that qualify for reduced lunch. Their families live in poverty, have trouble covering expenses such as school supplies, backpacks, locker organizers, holiday meals and expenses for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other winter holidays. Longfellow Love is a student assistance program entirely funded by parent and community donations. We use funds to purchase then distribute gift cards to families-in-need anonymously through the school counseling system. We also provide support on an as-needed basis, such as School supplies, toiletries, eye glasses, coats. Do you have financial difficulty providing meals for your children, school supplies, toiletries, or meeting other basic daily needs? Contact your counselor if you are in need of assistance, we are here to help.
