NEW SERVICE OPPORTUNITY - SUNDAY, MAY 5

Longfellow’s PTA Teacher Appreciation Committee needs students’ help displaying materials and posters around the school. Come to the main entrance at school on Sunday, May 5, at 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM. Students can receive service hours.

SHARE, Inc., our local food pantry that serves those in need in our community holds food drives at local grocery stores periodically throughout the year. Volunteers greet incoming shoppers, hand-out flyers, sort and load groceries. Currently scheduled dates: Check out ShareCommunityService@gmail.com to sign up for these upcoming events and other events TBD  

Martha's Table (2114 14th Street NW, DC) needs volunteers who are older than 9 to help with food prep from 10:00-1:00 or sorting clothes 9:30-11:30 or 11:30-2:30 Tuesday -- Saturday. For more information on volunteering: http://www.marthastable.org/volunteer-opportunities.html
