Before she came to Longfellow, Anisha lived in Stafford County. She never forgot the sudden death of an older student, 13 year-old Gwyneth Griffin. Gwyneth died of a cardiac episode during field day at her school. Gwyneth's parents started the foundation Gwyneth's Gift, to help train students on CPR and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). On February 14th, students at Longfellow MS were trained by volunteers from Gwyneth's Gift. We are so proud of Anisha for leading this effort, and for the amazing volunteers who taught our students these lifesaving skills. Learn more at https://www.gwynethsgift.org/
